This Saturday Night Live spoof mocks well-meaning Americans who believe they can help the poor, usually in Africa or India, by providing food, water and medicine for less than the price of a single cup of coffee.
Saturday Night Live is NBC’s Emmy Award-winning late-night comedy showcase, produced in the United States. Since its inception in 1975, ‘SNL’ has launched the careers of many of the brightest comedy performers of their generation. The programme has won 53 Emmy Awards, the most for any show in television history. It also holds the title for the most nominated television show in Emmy history with 219 nominations.
It is broadcast live from NBC's famed Studio 8H in New York City's Rockefeller Center and is a production of Broadway Video in association with SNL Studios. Lorne Michaels is the executive producer.
