He is an advocate of trust-based philanthropy, which encourages donors to provide unrestricted, long-term support to organisations. In this interview, Darren talks about listening intently to partners and communities while acting with a sense of urgency, and shares what excites him about philanthropy in India.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p><p>Darren has been included on numerous leadership lists, including <em>Time<\/em> magazine&rsquo;s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. He was also named the 2020 Philanthropy Innovator of the Year by <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em>. Darren serves on the boards of the&nbsp;National Gallery of Art, Carnegie Hall, High Line, Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, Ralph Lauren, Bloomberg Inc., and PepsiCo.&nbsp;<\/p><p>&mdash;<\/p><div class=\"idron-article-in-content\" style=\"margin-bottom: 15px;\" id=\"idron-4108974090\"><a href=\"https:\/\/idronline.org\/what-is-idr-answers\/\"
