Mamoon Akhtar Archives

Mamoon Akhtar is the founder of Samaritan Help Mission, a nonprofit based in the Tikipara slum of Howrah, West Bengal. As part of it, he has started several programmes, including a mobile healthcare service and a vocational training-cum-income programme. He was recognised as one of the 'Uncommon Heroes' of India by the newspaper The Times of India.
