Shirish S Garud is engaged with the electricity and renewables division of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). With his three-decade-long experience in the renewable energy sector, Shirish is a specialist in renewable energy technologies such as solar and wind, energy planning, and renewable energy policy studies. He holds a master's in energy systems engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a bachelor's in mechanical engineering from the University of Poona, Pune.
