Climate resilience in urban India

The H T Parekh Foundation, established in 2012 to honour Shri H T Parekh, the visionary founder of HDFC Limited, began operations in 2014 as HDFC’s philanthropic arm. It has since evolved into an independent domestic philanthropy with a renewed strategy. Its flagship program, U.R.B.A.N. (Urban Resilience Building Action Network), aims to enhance the quality of life for urban communities by building resilience to climate stressors.
