Mirai Chatterjee is director, social security, for Self-Employed Women’s Association, a trade union of over 15 lakh self-employed women. She is on the boards of several organizations in India, including the Friends of Women’s World Banking (FWWB) and HealthWatch. She has been a member of national task forces on social security, health, and poverty reduction. She was also appointed to the National Advisory Council and the National Commission for the Unorganised Sector.
