If women in rural areas have access to land, technology, and financial services farm yield could increase by 20-30 percent.

Charu Thukral has more than seven years of research and consulting experience. She is currently serving as a senior consultant with Intellecap. At Intellecap, her focus sectors include agriculture, livelihoods, and gender. Prior to Intellecap, Charu was associated with Aranca, a research and advisory firm. She was also associated with BAIF Development Research Foundation. Charu holds a master's degree in agribusiness economics from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics and B.Sc in economics from Symbiosis International University in Pune, India.
