Nikhat Shaikh is a developmental professional and a qualitative researcher with a Master's degree in Social work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Nikhat is a master trainer on issues of gender-based violence with a special focus on building capacity of health care providers and law protectors to sensitise them on gender issues. She has a over a decade of experience of crisis intervention, counselling, strengthening public systems to respond to gender-based violence. At SNEHA, she supports the research unit in designing and conducting qualitative research and evaluation for evidence-based practice and policy.
