The missing water tanker and the absent Rohingya women
Rohingya women at a water-scarce camp in Delhi are missing their skill-building classes because of their overdependence on a water tanker that’s never on time.
Sara Sheikh used to work as a programme coordinator at The Azadi Project, where she facilitated functional literacy classes for women and helped them avail livelihoods support. She has previously worked at BOSCO-Delhi, where she was involved with a UNHCR project that provided psychosocial support to refugees and linked them with UNHCR schemes. Sara also has the experience of working with nonprofits on child welfare.
