Aparimita Pratap works as a project officer with the Gender Equality and Empowerment team at the Migration and Asylum Project (MAP). She is a lawyer specialising in the sphere of gender and access to justice. Her interest lies in strengthening community empowerment initiatives and developing grassroots structures that enhance access to justice for vulnerable populations, through an intersectional approach. She also works closely with pro bono legal aid lawyers and paralegal volunteers, ensuring comprehensive legal representation to survivors of gender based violence.
