Akeel served as the secretary of disability care at Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Hall, where he led significant reforms, including advocating for upper-age relaxation and reservations in admissions for students with disabilities. He has extensive experience using legal tools such as RTIs and has worked on multiple disability-related cases.
