Anita Sharma is a senior research associate at Nāgrika. An interdisciplinary researcher, her work examines urban issues through the lenses of economy, ecology, and planning. Her research interests include the hydroecology of intermittent rivers, the water–energy–food nexus, and climate change. Originally from Tumin, Sikkim, Anita draws on both rural and urban experiences to inform her work. She is an alumna of the Indian Institute for Human Settlements, with an academic background in forestry and urban studies.
