India’s COVID-19 response limited by strong urban and tech bias
India's response to the second wave of COVID-19 glosses over the lack of infrastructure and technology know-how in rural India.
Aastha Maggu currently works at the Desert Resource Centre in Rajasthan and is keen on understanding more about livelihood systems in dry and arid regions. She is currently leading policy advocacy efforts on building a camel milk enterprise ecosystem in western Rajasthan and developing a support services model for pastoralists in the region. She has a masters degree in public policy from the National Law School, Bangalore.
