India’s COVID-19 response limited by strong urban and tech bias

Benoy Peter is a co-founder and the executive director of Centre for Migration and Inclusive Development (CMID), a nonprofit that advocates for and promotes the social inclusion of migrants in India. At CMID, Benoy leads technical support to the Jharkhand government on its safe and responsible migration initiative. He is one of the co-authors of Road Map for the Inclusion of Internal Migrant Workers in India’s Policy Framework, published by the International Labour Organisation, and has a PhD in Population Sciences from the International Institute for Population Sciences.
