    Saravanan Thangarajan-Image

    Dr Saravanan Thangarajan is a global health researcher and climate–maternal health advocate. He is a visiting scientist at the Harvard T H Chan School of Public Health and serves on the UK Wellcome Trust’s expert committee on climate and health. In 2024–25, Saravanan’s field research in Tamil Nadu revealed how heatwaves and floods affect mothers, infants, and caregivers—findings now shaping policy and community action for climate justice.
