Ganesh Rao is senior programme manager with the outcome measurement team at the Centre for Effective Governance of Indian States (CEGIS). Prior to CEGIS, he was associated with Laterite, where he developed and led the embedded research advisory and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) diagnostic services for nonprofits and governments in East Africa. He has also worked with J-PAL India. Ganesh holds an MSc in Economics and BE in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from BITS Pilani, Goa.
