India’s COVID-19 response limited by strong urban and tech bias
India's response to the second wave of COVID-19 glosses over the lack of infrastructure and technology know-how in rural India.
Krisha Mathur is a consultant focused on primary healthcare and outcomes-linked financing. She was previously the India health lead for the Institute for Transformative Technologies trialling tech-enabled nurse-led clinics in rural Maharashtra. Based on this work, she co-founded Clinic Didi to improve last-mile primary care delivery. Most recently, she was the social finance manager at the British Asian Trust, leading innovative finance work in India.
