India’s COVID-19 response limited by strong urban and tech bias

Nirmalya Choudhury is a senior researcher at VikasAnvesh Foundation (VAF). Before VAF, he headed the Centre for Water Policy, Regulation and Governance at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. In recent years, he has been working on multiple developmental challenges, vulnerability, and resilience of the people residing in recurrent flood prone areas of Ganga-Brahmaputra basin. He has a doctorate from Technical University Berlin, a post graduate diploma in forest management from IIFM Bhopal, and a masters in economics from Calcutta University.
