Purshottam A Sonagra is an area manager at VIKAS Centre For Development, a nonprofit based in Gujarat. He has researched on the salt workers in the Little Rann of Kutch, the drip-linked solar farming system for small farmers in Banaskantha district, the mangrove plantation in Bharuch district, and the seaweed cultivation in the coastal area of Devbhumi Dwarka district. He has studied civil engineering and philosophy and has been working in the development sector since 2000.
