India’s COVID-19 response limited by strong urban and tech bias
India's response to the second wave of COVID-19 glosses over the lack of infrastructure and technology know-how in rural India.

Rani Parveen has been running a small shop from her home in the Sunder Nursery area of Nizamuddin, Delhi, since March 2022. She sells basic grocery items such as wafers, toffees, cookies, and water. Before this, she has also owned a momo shop in the same area. Along with being a microentrepreneur, Rani is a student of class 12 at the National Institute of Open School (NIOS).
