India’s COVID-19 response limited by strong urban and tech bias
India's response to the second wave of COVID-19 glosses over the lack of infrastructure and technology know-how in rural India.
Saranmoyee Kar has a master’s in social work from Delhi University. She has been working with PRADAN since 2015 and is currently coordinating a team at Lalgarh, Jhargram district, West Bengal. Her expertise lies in promotion and nurturing of community-based organisations of poor women and nutrition-sensitive agriculture. She is also experienced in watershed development programmes and is working with the PRI to deliver government programmes.
