    Sarita Devi advises the board at the all-women Gumla Grameen Poultry SS Cooperative Society Limited. Sarita was one of the nine founding members of the cooperative in 2002. She has served as a board member, chairman, and vice president of the cooperative. Through her work in poultry, she entered politics in 2010 and was elected as a ward member. She is currently a panchayat samiti sadasya.
