    Shishir Gupta is a senior fellow and chief operating officer at the Centre for Social and Economic Progress in New Delhi. His work focuses on many aspects of Indian economy ranging from economic growth, digitisation, urbanisation, consumer markets, governance and institutions. Prior to CSEP, he was with McKinsey Global Institute for about 15 years. Shishir is passionate about playing a meaningful role in policy discourse to bring about perceptible and lasting improvement.
