India’s COVID-19 response limited by strong urban and tech bias

Shripad Dharmadhikary is an activist and a researcher, and coordinator of the Manthan Adhyayan Kendra that studies water and energy issues through the lens of equity, justice and sustainability. His interests include dams, rivers, environmental flows, inland waterways, water privatisation, and the coal-water nexus. A graduate engineer from IIT Bombay, he was previously an activist for 12 years with the Narmada Bachao Andolan. Shripad writes extensively on issues of water, environment, and development.
