Over the years, she has worked to integrate international research on learning in rural Indian schools and achieved significant breakthroughs in children’s learning. As part of large-scale projects, she has engaged with governments and nonprofits across the country. An alumna of BITS Pilani, Smita has authored several papers and a book on seasonal migration and its impact on children’s education.
