Subrat Das is the executive director of CBGA since 2010. He has worked extensively on gender-responsive budgeting, government financing of social sectors, fiscal policy and social inclusion, and fiscal governance issues in India. A major part of his research in these areas has been focused on deepening the public discourse on fiscal policy and budgetary processes from the perspective of underprivileged sections, and unpacking these complex issues so as to foster people’s participation in this sphere.
