Sumit Arora is Head of Civic Tech and Digital Initiatives at Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy. He led the development and nation-wide implementation of Swachhata Platform, the Citizen engagement platform for Swachh Bharat Mission, in partnership with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Sumit has also led partnerships with state and city-level governments to roll out civic tech platforms. He founded a software services company in the past and has also worked in research for Cadence Design Systems and Samsung Research Institute, Delhi.
