India’s COVID-19 response limited by strong urban and tech bias
India's response to the second wave of COVID-19 glosses over the lack of infrastructure and technology know-how in rural India.
Dr Susanna G Mitra is a senior research fellow at the Ramaiah Public Policy Center. She has an interdisciplinary interest in policy processes that affect under-represented populations and marginalised communities. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Manchester, UK. Her recent research focuses on health policy and administration for displaced people and the urban poor, and builds a systemic understanding of how policy development and programmatic interventions take place in India.
