India’s COVID-19 response limited by strong urban and tech bias
India's response to the second wave of COVID-19 glosses over the lack of infrastructure and technology know-how in rural India.

Taha Ibrahim Siddiqui is a researcher and data analyst at research institute of compassionate economics (r.i.c.e.) and an economics graduate from Jamia Millia Islamia. He is currently associated with a project on breastfeeding and newborn care, which is focused on reducing neonatal mortality of low-birthweight and premature babies in Uttar Pradesh. Taha's research interest lies in the intersection of development, social exclusion, and public health. He has previously worked and written on issues related to the informal economy and minorities' development outcomes in India.
