India’s COVID-19 response limited by strong urban and tech bias

Varsha Bhagat-Ganguly has been a professor at the Institute of Law, Nirma University, and the Centre for Rural Studies, LBSNAA, Mussoorie, as well as a fellow at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla. As a development sociologist for the last 35 years, she has worked, researched, and published widely on varied developmental and social issues such as pastoralism and pastoralists, land issues and land rights, citizens’ rights and collective action, India’s scheduled areas, e-waste management, and violence on women.
