India’s COVID-19 response limited by strong urban and tech bias
India's response to the second wave of COVID-19 glosses over the lack of infrastructure and technology know-how in rural India.
Vedika Inamdar is a research author at the Department of Sociology at Monk Prayogshala, a nonprofit academic research organisation in Mumbai. She has a masters in poverty and development from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex, UK. She has conducted fieldwork for various research projects and also worked as a research assistant on projects at IDS. Her research interests lie in anthropology of development, social policy, political economy, and social theory.
