1. Rizz

Stands for charisma. Often used to describe a person who is charming and likable.

For example: Three of our five funders all know the new intern by name–I can’t tell if it’s because of rizz or generational wealth.

2. Goat or Goated

Stands for greatest of all time. Used to describe a particularly pleasant person, situation, or thing.

For example: Remember that one team meeting we had that ended 20 minutes before time? Yes, it was two years ago, but that was so goated.

3. Sigma

A stoic and successful person who is well-respected.

For example: A very sigma move to launch an initiative with a name so simple, it’s only two words.

4. Main character energy

Someone that exudes confidence and charisma associated with the main character of a movie or a book.

For example: I sent the admin and finance person a two paragraph email divided into six bullet points, and they just responded with an “okay”. Incredible main character energy.

5. Beige flag

A neutral trait that is neither good or bad.

For example: My organisation’s beige flag is that four years into remote working, everyone still sends a message on slack when they’re breaking for lunch.

6. Locked in

Deciding to stay extremely focused on a goal, usually after neglecting it for a while.

For example: We just got informed that a 30-40 page proposal to the government is due in the next six hours. Time to get locked in.

7. Yap

Talking too much.

For example: Why is it always a CSR head from a corporate that is responsible for astounding levels of carbon emissions yapping the most about climate change on LinkedIn?
