Bharti Ali is a development professional and social activist. She has been working for the rights of women and children for the last 30 years, with a specific focus on access to justice. She is one of the co-founders of HAQ: Centre for Child Rights, and currently its executive director. Through her work, Bharti has contributed to research, capacity building of key stakeholders, and the making of laws and policies on children’s rights nationally and internationally.
