For marginal farmers, good things come in small collectives
Group farming enables farmers to cultivate contiguous smallholding plots, increase yield, and transition out of subsistence farming.
Garima Kumari is a development professional with over 16 years of experience in rural livelihood promotion, community institution strengthening, and project management in tribal communities. Since 2014, she has anchored the Rural Livelihood portfolio for CInI, Tata Trusts in Jharkhand, leading lac value chain development, agriculture production hubs, and farmer producer companies. Garima has a Bachelor's in agricultural engineering and a Master’s in social work.
