Khabar Lahariya

Khabar Lahariya is a grassroots, feminist news network that works with women reporters and editors from marginalised communities in the Bundelkhand region. Their team of locally embedded reporters covers stories from policy and governance, to violence against women, rural youth, culture, environment, and so on. They have received multiple awards, including the Women’s World Summit Foundation Award for Creativity in Rural Life in 2009 and the Times Now Amazing Indian Award in 2013.
