Lakshmi Raghupathy served as the director of the Ministry of Environment and Forests for 20 years. Her academic activities include teaching research, presentation, and communication of papers based on academics and policy. She has worked as adviser and consultant with international and national organisations and industry associations. She is also a resource person on various projects and part of the editorial board for national and international journals.
