Murchana Hazarika is an Assistant Project Manager & Research Associate at the Centre for Mental Health Law & Policy, ILS, Pune, where she works on mental health law and policy through the Keshav Desiraju India Mental Health Observatory. A postgraduate in Public Policy from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, she is a social policy researcher with experience in policy research and government-facing initiatives. Her research and professional interests lie at the intersection of mental health systems and social justice, and in working with governments and institutions on policy and implementation.
