Rising temperature, falling income: Heat stress in the informal sector

Nirmita Chandrashekar is an architect with over ten years of experience in the construction and development sectors. Currently, she is a senior programme manager at SELCO Foundation, where she anchors policy and partnerships for the development of sustainable energy driven livelihoods and healthcare for poor communities. For the past six years, she has been key in setting up narratives, systems and processes for the green built environment vertical at the foundation.
