Santalachi Subba
Santalachi Subba has been working at Badamtam Tea Estate for nearly 28 years. She is one of the many workers who have contributed to creating Moonlight Spring White Tea, one of the most expensive teas in the world. Following her husband’s death, Santalachi has single-handedly looked after her family. She lives on the estate with her granddaughter, and her youngest daughter works in Delhi.
