Shishu Ranjan

Shishu Ranjan-Image

Shishu Ranjan is a member of the presidium secretatriat of the All India Forum for Right to Education (AIFRTE). He has been active in student politics in Jharkhand and at the national level, and his work focuses on education, social justice, and first-generation learners, particularly students pursuing law without access to significant socioeconomic capital. Shishu also has teaching experience at the school and undergraduate level, has worked on sexual and reproductive health, and has been a researcher in the field of education. His writings on higher education and social justice have appeared on platforms including The Wire, The Indian Express, Maktoob, and The Leaflet. Shishu is a Chevening Scholar and holds an MSc in Education and Social Justice from Birkbeck, University of London.
