    Malsawmdawngliani Tara-Image

    Malsawmdawngliani Tara is an IDR Northeast Media Fellow, 2025–26. She is also a radio presenter at All India Radio in Aizawl, Mizoram, an academic, and a poet. Tara’s literary essays have appeared in academic journals and her poems have been published in Teesta Review and Mizo Poetry Society. She uses writing as a form of self-expression and as a medium for voicing concerns around gender, environment, and the society.
