Carolina Robino is a senior programme specialist at Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC), where she manages innovative research on women’s economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, and policies for small business growth. Carolina holds a PhD in Development Studies from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa and a master’s in social and political studies for Latin America from the Universidad Alberto Hurtado in Chile. She has a degree in economics from the Universidad de la Republica in Uruguay.
