Livelihoods: Pratham, a nonprofit working to improve the quality of education in India, launched Women@Work—a micro-website dedicated to working women—on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
Through the website, Pratham aims to create a large repository of inspiring stories of women from all walks of life who have pursued their dreams and tried to build an economically secure future. “The expectation is that the stories hosted on this platform will encourage more women to pursue their dreams and become change-makers in the future,” said Pratham.

It is therefore critical to showcase relatable role models who can help women and girls overcome socio-cultural barriers to influence change.
