Alison Bukhari

Alison Bukhari is a global advisor at IDR. She has 25 years of experience working in the Indian development sector with leadership roles at Magic Bus, Dasra, and Educate Girls. At IDR, she will leverage IDR Answers to develop the first-ever knowledge commons for the development sector globally. Having worked across operations, strategy, and communications, Alison has played a significant role in global partnership development for Indian-founded organisations and believes strongly that community voices have to reach decision-makers wherever they sit. One of IDR’s first authors, Alison sits on the board of Educate Girls UK and is a practitioner in residence at the London School of Economics.
