Al Badush A is a marine ecology researcher and senior research assistant with Nature Conservation Foundation, where he has worked with the Oceans and Coasts Programme for more than a decade. Originally from Kerala, his work focuses on sea turtle–seagrass ecosystems, fisheries, climate change, and the habitability of low-lying islands, with a particular focus on Lakshadweep. Badush is also a science communicator and conservation practitioner working at the intersection of science, culture, and community through research, storytelling, and engagement.
