Once floods swept Assam, social media mobilised people and aid in huge numbers. As online narratives shift quickly, long-term recovery requires both digital and on-ground coordination.
Bruno Kachua
Bruno Kachua is a community development coordinator at Sunbird Trust. Based in Assam, he works with rural and tribal communities in districts including Majuli, Dhemaji, Golaghat, and Karbi-Anglong. Bruno has been involved in initiatives related to education, skill development and livelihoods, government convergence, and humanitarian relief. His work spans community mobilisation, village-level needs assessments, project planning and implementation, and documentation and monitoring of community-based development programmes.
