Parin Visariya is a deputy manager, Inclusive Compact Cities, at the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy-India (ITDP). He has over eight years of experience helping government officials implement walking and cycling, parking management, and low emissions zones initiatives. He has led the development of low-emission zone plans for Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, and Chattrapati Sambhaji Nagar, and is now engaged in their implementation. He also led the development of various planning and design resources on walking and cycling for the Smart Cities Missions' Cycles4Change and Streets4People initiatives, and Indian Roads Congress's urban streets committee.
