Ramchandra
Ramchandra has been the pradhan of Surma village located in the Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. He is a Tharu Adivasi and has been fighting for the forest rights of his community for over three decades. He is a member of the National Forum for Forest People and Forest Workers, and helped in the organisation of Tharu Adivasi Mahila Mazdoor Kisan Manch.
