Shobha Shami

Shobha Shami is a senior digital associate at IDR. She has 14 years of experience in Hindi digital media. Before joining IDR, she worked with various media organisations, including Network18, AsiaVille News, and Deutsche Welle (DW). She has also worked as a translator for the People’s Archive of Rural India (PARI). Shobha’s work is driven by an interest in stories that often remain unheard and questions of caste, gender, sexuality, and social inequalities that shape people’s lives.
