He is a trained urban planner who primarily works on the issues of urban informality, feminist urbanism, housing and civil rights, and spatial inequities in particular and urban exclusivity in general. Anuj formerly served as an Urban Fellow at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements and worked with organisations such as SEWA, WIEGO, Social Design Collaborative, and Centre for Science and Environment.
